Independence Day at New Shivalik Public High School is a deeply meaningful occasion that fills our campus with pride, patriotism, and joy. Every 15th of August, our students, teachers, and staff come together to commemorate India's freedom and pay tribute to the countless brave hearts who sacrificed everything for our nation.
The celebrations include a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, patriotic songs, cultural performances, speeches, and tableau presentations. Our young students take centre stage, offering moving tributes to freedom fighters and reinforcing values of national unity, integrity, and service.
Through these celebrations, we instil in our students a deep sense of civic responsibility and love for the country — ensuring that the spirit of Independence Day lives on in every heart.
